Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data NovaMio:Talk (art.novamio.app.talk) collects from its users, why, and how we protect it. By using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

NovaMio:Talk is developed by Novamio Technologies LLC (New York, USA). For questions: support@novamio.art.

2. What we collect

You don't create an account. We don't ask for your email or a password. Instead:

• Device identifier: A random UUID stored on your device. It exists only to tie your quota and premium subscription to the right device. It contains no name, email, phone number, or IP address.
• Usage statistics: Conversation duration in seconds, the language pair used. No content is recorded.
• Subscription state: Anonymous transaction identifiers issued by Apple. We do not have access to your card or Apple ID.

3. What we do NOT collect

• We never store audio recordings. Audio is streamed to the transcription service for the duration of the call only, then dropped.
• Translation text is not stored on our servers. It lives only on your device, in the form you see, and is auto-deleted after 7 days.
• No personalized ads. We do not sell data to ad networks.

4. Third-party services

The following third parties make the service work:

• Deepgram — speech-to-text. Audio is streamed in real time and is not stored on Deepgram's side.
• DeepL — text translation. Only the sentence being translated is sent. No user identifier accompanies it.
• Apple StoreKit — subscription verification. Apple's own privacy policy applies.

5. Retention

Usage records are kept for as long as needed for billing and fraud audit. When you delete your account, your device identifier is marked as deleted; past usage rows may be retained in anonymized form for audit purposes but can no longer be linked back to you.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR / CCPA you have the right to:

• Know what data we hold
• Request deletion — done in one tap inside the app under Settings > Delete my account
• Object to processing

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. If we learn a user is under 13 we will delete the record.

8. Changes

This policy may change. For material changes you'll see an in-app notice. The top of this page always carries the last-updated date.
